About Chrissy
"Chrissy was an absolute delight. She made discussion of difficult situations both informative and fun, without minimizing the seriousness—a pretty magical balancing act. I'm so grateful my staff had the opportunity to learn from her." -Amy Levine, Library Director at Rockland Public Library
A picture book enthusiast and advocate for movement-based programs, Chrissy spent the last decade serving the public in library leadership roles. Throughout her career, she recognized critical gaps—from the lack of resources and tools to help public workers address harassment and unwanted attention to the need for more engaging storytime training, stronger policy support, and strategic planning leadership. She also saw the need for more movement in classrooms and educational settings, understanding that incorporating physical activity enhances learning, engagement, and overall well-being.
To bridge these gaps, Chrissy provides comprehensive training, programming, and consulting services to help organizations create safe, inclusive, and dynamic spaces for both staff and the communities they serve. Chrissy holds a Master of Arts in English and a Master of Library and Information Science, along with a British Association of Teachers Dance license and an American Council on Exercise license, blending her expertise in storytelling, literacy, movement, and public service.
